Brother John was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Brain of Salford on the Solemnity of OHF Augustine

27th August 2007 :: Clothing Ceremony

During the First Vespers of OHF Augustine, Matthew Allen was Clothed as a Novice and adopted the name Brother Rupert, in honour of Blessed Rupert Meyer, beatified by Pope John Paul II on 3 May 1987.  Blessed Rupert, a Jesuit, was a leading figure of the Catholic resistance against the Third Reich.  James Foley was received as a Donatus. 

24th August 2007 ::  Ministry of Lector

On 24th August 2007, the Feast of Saint Bartholomew, Brother Bernard and Brother Ambrose Barlow were instituted in the Ministry of Lector
